Focus and Scope: general laws and trends of economic development, motivation and behavior of market participants; theories of micro-, macro- and international economics; modern quantitative methods of analysis of economic processes; institutional and interdisciplinary analysis; patterns of modern socio-economic processes; principles, historical preconditions of management development; functions, methods, technologies and management decisions in management; navigation processes, navigation equipment, navigation service systems and processes; methods of cargo handling and placement on ships; technical systems and ship complexes (ship mechanical systems, electrical equipment and electronic equipment and control systems, radio communication systems); system engineering for the creation of technical objects of mechanical engineering and their operation; concepts, methods, concepts of systems theories and systems analysis, transport processes and systems, optimal solutions and others that reveal the laws of design, effective development and operation of transport systems and technologies.
