Abstract

Introduction. To date, the most appropriate way to improve the efficiency of logistics activities is to create and implement such tools for measuring the effectiveness of logistics activities that most adequately represent both the results of the functioning of the entire integrated logistics supply chain of goods, and the results obtained as a result of the functioning of individual structural divisions of companies, the ratio of the results obtained with the resources used for this. In everyday business life, a large number of indicators are available that are a lever for the efficiency of enterprises, but the question of choosing the most important of them, determining the limits of their measurement and monitoring changes is uncertain. The solution of this issue can have a significant impact on the overall efficiency of the company. Purpose. This study is aimed at identifying the relationship between motivational policy, key performance indicators and sustainable logistics of manufacturing enterprises. The article proposes a methodology that allows to increase the efficiency of the enterprise logistics system through the introduction of a controlling system for the functioning of the logistics department. Results. Analyzed the existing attributes of evaluation of the functioning of logistics and the main key performance indicators. Key performance indicators for controlling and implementing a motivational policy for the activities of employees of the logistics department are proposed. The results of the analysis of existing approaches to assessing the effectiveness of personnel management in the logistics controlling system made it possible to establish that the effective indicators characterizing the effectiveness of personnel management are the tariff for the provided transport services, the time of order fulfillment and the quality of their implementation. A system for accruing quarterly bonuses for a logistician is proposed in the work, taking into account certain criteria. The proposed methodology takes into account the existing limitations and normalizes the performance of the department. Conclusions. Based on the proposed methodology, a numerical example is considered to prove the feasibility of introducing a motivational policy at an enterprise, due to the obtained economic effect. The results obtained are of interest to all stakeholders in the production and distribution industries, in the structural sections of which there is a logistics department.
